…I am out of shape/lack flexibility/have little arm strength!
Physical “limitations” can be worked around (though I am not a yoga therapist, and I am not qualified to handle serious injuries and rehabilitation). There are almost always modifications and alternative poses available. You can only begin where you are, and where you are is a great place to begin.
…I don’t have enough time/enough money!
By offering private classes at your home or work, at reasonable rates and flexible times, I hope to eliminate time-related obstacles. Sometimes you just need to decide that taking care of yourself is a priority. As for cost, the studios where I teach also ascribe to the objective of keeping yoga affordable, and offer reasonably priced class packages.
…I tried yoga once and had a bad yoga class/teacher experience!
Not all teachers, styles, or classes work for everyone. (It’s kind of like saying that you tried Rum Raisin ice cream and didn’t like it, so you don’t like ice cream. Though I actually like Rum Raisin ice cream. But I digress…)
…I am intimidated by large classes/people with awesome yoga bodies!
It can feel overwhelming to practice yoga in a huge group, especially at the beginning. Small classes in a familiar setting with personal attention can work towards eliminating this disincentive. And people of all shapes and sizes come to my classes (really)!  .
…I already run/rock climb/cycle for fitness so I don’t need yoga!
Even if you already have a form of exercise you love, I would argue any physical pursuit would be enhanced by adding a yoga practice. Not just stretching, yoga increases flexibility, strength, stamina, endurance and focus.
Yoga has brought so much joy, balance and peace to my life, and I would welcome the opportunity to have it do the same for you.
